If Hub Hoi An is the lively meeting ground of nomads, freelancers, and travelers cycling in for connection, then Hít Hà Cafe, also known as Sniff, is its softer counterpart. Perched right on the shoreline, it offers something else entirely: a coworking café with a panoramic ocean view, a small upstairs workspace, and a rhythm tuned more to the waves than to the chatter of a big community.

Coworking life by the sea at Hít Hà Cafe in Hội An
Here, the soundtrack isn’t keyboards and conversations—it’s wind, tide, and the occasional motorbike rolling past on the coast road. It feels less like stepping into a scene, and more like stepping out of one.
Work with the sea beside you
The setup is straightforward. Day passes and monthly passes give you access to the upstairs coworking area—a compact but airy room lined with desks and large windows looking straight out onto the beach. Wi-Fi is steady, outlets are available, and the view is enough to make you pause between emails.

Unlike other coworking spaces in Hội An, Hít Hà rarely feels crowded. When we visited, it was almost empty, and locals told us that even during busier seasons it tends to stay quieter than the hubbub of central coworking spaces. That makes it ideal if you’re looking for a space to actually sink into your work, without the low-level hum of networking energy that can be inspiring in short bursts but draining over time.

Bright, open coworking space upstairs at Hít Hà Cafe in Hội An
This isn’t a place for constant collaboration. It’s a place for focus, reflection, and the kind of deep work best done when the world feels a little further away.
Breaks that turn into swims
Of all the coworking spots in Hội An, this is the one where taking a break can mean walking ten steps to the sea.

You can close your laptop, kick off your sandals, and dive into the water—then return to your desk with salt still drying on your skin. There’s something grounding about it. It breaks the cycle of screen and scroll, offering a reminder that the point of being here—on this coast, in this moment—is not only productivity, but presence.
If you’ve ever felt the strain of trying to work and travel at the same time, Hít Hà is a soft correction. It suggests: you can do both, but only if you let one feed the other.
Food and coffee
The café downstairs has its own appeal beyond the workspace. Alongside the usual Vietnamese coffee staples, Hít Hà has a few vegan-friendly offerings.

Vegan treats and fresh bites at Hít Hà Cafe in Hội An
We tried a raw vegan cake—light, layered, and surprisingly decadent—and the vegan focaccia sandwich, which felt like the kind of hearty, simple meal you want after a swim.
Atmosphere compared to Hub Hội An
It helps to think of Hít Hà and Hub Hoi An as complementary rather than competitive.
Hub Hoi An is a community node—buzzing with energy, full of introductions and events, and excellent if you’re looking to meet other nomads.
Hít Hà is the retreat—better if you want solitude, ocean air, and a slower pace.
Where Hub Hoi An fills you with momentum, Hít Hà restores your attention. Many nomads we spoke to used both, switching between them depending on the season, their workload, or their social needs.

We liked using Hub Hoi An most days, and Hít Hà for occasional change-of-scene days—to hear the sea instead of conversation, to look up from the laptop and see nothing but horizon.
Location and convenience
Hít Hà’s location is especially convenient if you’re staying closer to the beach rather than Hội An’s old town. The ride into town takes 10–15 minutes, but if you’re living by the coast already, this may be the closest coworking option.

It’s also atmospheric in a way few workspaces manage to be. The architecture is open and minimal, more functional than polished, but when you’re sitting upstairs with the light shifting off the water, it feels exactly right.
Who this place is for
We’d recommend Hít Hà if you:
- Prefer working in quiet, less crowded environments
- Want easy access to the beach for breaks, swims, or sunset walks
- Are looking for a short-term pass rather than a full coworking community membership

It might not be the place if you’re seeking instant community or structured events. But if your idea of a good workday includes long stretches of focus punctuated by ocean swims, this could be your spot.
