Booking.com is the platform we always check when we’re not staying in a coliving and want our own independent accommodation. It tends to work great for hotels, apartments, and other stays almost anywhere in the world.
One feature we especially value is their Genius Loyalty Program, which you’re automatically enrolled in as soon as you start booking. The more you use it, the better the benefits: by Level 3, you can expect 10–20% discounts, free breakfasts at select stays, free room upgrades, and priority support. For frequent travelers, this can make a big difference.
In our own experience, especially in places like Southeast Asia, Booking.com has often given us some of the best rates available, particularly once our loyalty discounts kicked in. For this reason, we often find better deals on Booking.com than on Airbnb.
