People often ask me why I started this magazine—and why, in a digital world, I chose print.
The truth is, I've been dreaming of creating a media platform that would serve digital nomads and its industry for nearly a decade. Since 2015, I've watched this lifestyle explode—new communities, new tools, new ways of living and working. And thought that if cannabis can have its own magazine, why not us?
NEC's view
Nomad Magazine is, to our knowledge, the only print project in the nomadic field. Each issue combines strong design, essays, and illustrated detail to give shape to the culture of people working and living across borders. It doesn’t just cover destinations or tools—it carries reflections on wellbeing, identity, technology, and the lived contradictions of a mobile life.
We admire the way it treats print as more than a format. In an era of fleeting digital feeds, Nomad Magazine insists that holding a physical object still matters—that weight, tactility, and presence can deepen how stories are received. This is something we resonate with deeply, as we, too, dream of one day creating a print edition of The Catalog.
What inspires us most is not only the end result, but the process behind it. Nomad Magazine emerged from within the community itself, built through persistence, collaboration, and a belief that nomadic life deserves to be documented with care. For us, it’s a kindred project: proof that independent publishing in this space can thrive.
