We use Payhip to run our store because it gives us everything we need without unnecessary complexity. One of the things we appreciate most is their free-forever plan: you can list unlimited products, make unlimited sales, and the only cost is a 5% transaction fee. If you would rather avoid transaction fees, they also offer a $99 per month plan with zero fees. In both cases, the pricing model does not penalize you for growing. That makes it an especially good option for people just starting out, or for anyone who is not sure yet what they will be selling.
Beyond the pricing, Payhip is simply easy to use. Setting up products takes minutes, the checkout is clean and intuitive, and it integrates directly with Stripe and PayPal. It works well for both digital products and courses, and it does not overwhelm you with bells and whistles you may not need.
